In the hot summer months, an air cooler hire is a great way to keep cool without the expense of purchasing and installing a permanent air conditioning system. Evaporative coolers are ideal for cooling particular areas or spots for a certain amount of time.

Air cooler hire or renting is particularly practical when you have a change in operations that requires temporary work in a hot,  dry area or for a short-term contract in an outdoor environment. Maybe you’re planning a large scale landscaping project in the summer months but don’t want to suffer from the miserable heat. Maybe you have a construction crew working at a job sight that is in a very hot area of the country and you know that keeping them cool will keep them content and also result in higher productivity. Or perhaps you want to keep a sports team cool during the practices that are taking place on the hottest days of the year. You can use a rented air cooler to make sure that your employees, attendants or players are kept cool and comfortable during that time. Additionally, evaporative coolers cost as little as 1/10 of what it would cost to run a similarly functioning air conditioning unit.
When contacting a company about cooler hire, be sure that you know the size of the area that you want to cool. They will probably ask you for the square  footage of the room or area, along with the ceiling height. That way they can figure out the cubic square footage of the room and know what power of evaporative cooler you need. (This obviously won’t apply for outdoor events.) Evaporative cooler power is determined by a unit of measure based on the cubic feet per minute (CFM) that the cooler can effectively cool. As a rule, the CFM you need is roughly half of the cubic feet area that you are trying to cool. You will probably be required to pay a deposit of some kind, or to give a valid credit card number. Contact a variety of companies in order to get the best rates and terms for your air cooler hire, but rates usually start at about $20 to $25 per week.
